At Scribbles Center for Learning, we understand the importance of finding the perfect childcare solution for your family. That's why we've designed our programs with families in mind, offering flexible scheduling options, a child-based curriculum that prepares children for the public school standards, and age-appropriate classroom and playground equipment.

The Scribbles Difference is the result of extensive community research, parent suggestions, professional guidance, and our own personal experiences as parents. We strive to accommodate the needs of the entire family, serving families with children as young as 6 weeks old through school-age children needing before and after-school care.

We believe that every child deserves the best start in life and that's why we're committed to providing an environment that cares for your child's needs.

Flex Care

  • Is your weekly schedule anything but “normal”?

  • Do you need backup care if your primary option is unavailable?

  • Do you just need a little "me" time without the kids to run some errands or go to an appointment or meeting?

Perhaps you need some combination of care not mentioned.  Scribbles Flex Care is the perfect solution to accommodate your needs!

Even though some kids might be on different schedules, they will still be integrated into our classrooms to learn and play among our qualified teaching staff. We make your convenience part of our programming which includes children on all schedules.

On-Site Child Assessment

Are you concerned about your child's development and social-emotional well-being? Scribbles is here to help.

With parent consent, our Assistant Director of Child Development is available on-site to administer the ASQ-3 (developmental screening) and the ASQ-SE-2 (social-emotional screening).

Based on the results, she will work closely with you and your child to identify areas of delay and create a plan for progress. She will also collaborate with local Early Intervention agencies and personal site observers to ensure your child receives the best support possible. If your child already has an IFSP/IEP/504 Plan in place, she can work with you and your child's teachers to make accommodations and set goals according to their plan.

NAEYC Accreditation

At Scribbles, we're more than just a childcare center - we're a NAEYC-accredited center, and that's something we're incredibly proud of!

Being NAEYC-accredited means that we've gone through an extensive application process and have been thoroughly vetted by skilled and reliable assessors to ensure that we meet the highest standards in all areas of childcare.

But what does being NAEYC-accredited mean for your child? It means that your child will be in a safe, nurturing environment where relationships, curriculum, teaching approaches, assessments, nutrition and health, staff qualifications, family involvement, community resources, environment, and program management are all top-notch. It means that you can trust that your child is getting the best possible care and education.

If you're looking for a childcare center that goes above and beyond, come visit Scribbles and see for yourself why we're NAEYC-accredited. We're confident that you'll love what you see - and we'd love to have you and your child join our family. Contact us today to schedule a visit!

National Green School Certification (NGSC)

This national, independent, third-party green school certification and audit program is governed by a group of environmental professionals and implemented through trained, knowledgeable consultants who are passionate about conserving our most precious resource – our children.

We have worked closely with the NGSC and environmental consulting group, Little Miss Save the Earth, to become the first childcare center in the area to be certified by the NGSC!

The certification process led to much awareness on the behalf of our administrators, staff, and families and has prompted us to implement many changes in our program that will ultimately lead to a healthier, safer, and more sustainable environment for our children. Some of these changes include: increased classroom and center-wide recycling efforts introduction of green/eco-friendly cleaning products reduced paper usage.

We also have a composting bin for food waste!
